deadlyscarletJust some personal thoughts about the Venomous Cell Tour which I got from my father for fulfilling his condition. Two months I went without sleep for this baby and I am over the moon about it ^_^
Finally I watched Venomous Cell Live today. I wasn’t planning on watching it today though. I was like trying to assemble my PC all morning. But unfortunately, I didn’t know how to tighten screws on the LCD monitor’s stand. Pretty stupid coz my brother mocked at me for trying to fit the screws while placing the stand in the wrong direction LOL. Me and my brain. Anyway, my parents and my brother weren’t home in the morning as it was my brother’s first day in a new college and my parents wanted to be there with him. I was invited too but I refused.
So after fiddling with the screws for nearly an hour, I gave up and went to cook some breakfast for myself. I was staring at the TV box and thinking whether I should watch Venomous Cell but then the speakers of my home theater wasn’t fully installed as you know new house and all. But still it was a perfect opportunity, no pests at home LOL. So I picked up my DVD and started watching it.
I wasn’t even looking at the food I was eating as I couldn’t peel my eyes of the screen.
Well Ruki was so kawaii. He looked so uke with his glittering overcoat and gloves and that hair duo of his, WOW. I loved him sitting on the railings, spitting water from time to time. And his voice, as beautiful as always.

veroxion) during the encore. I absolutely loved his hair even though I miss him being blond, but still Uru was hot. I absolutely loved his guitar wails. You know the wails during 13 Stairs –[1] and Discharge. Is it weird if I tell that I was fucking aroused?
Then Aoi. Oh, Aoi, Aoi, Aoi. I don’t think I will ever stop calling you hot, sexy, beautiful, magnificent even when blood runs out of my mouth. I think I will never stop loving this man ever. Each day my love for him only increases ten fold. I mean people I watch his picture before going to sleep and waking up. I know weird. Well that’s the extent of my love for him. He was there playing his guitar like a wild cat, shaking his hips and smiling his beautiful smile. I love him absolutely everything. And I was so proud when his guitar part was what which inaugurated the live (You know he starts playing first in VENOMOUS SPIDER’S WEB). And his clothes, oh God! I loved it. Especially the red skirt which was a major nose bleed. I guess he couldn’t allow Uru alone to wear a skirt talk about competitive LOL. But what I really missed was Aoi’s beautiful backing vocals. He did a lot of vocals in DIM SCENE LIVE, but sadly in Venomous Cell there was almost nothing of his vocals making me wonder if he had a cold or something. But I did get to hear him talk in the backstage so well okay a little comfort there. And one more thing, Aoi seemed to stick his tongue out a lot, yes the very tongue which made me fall in love with him in the first place. But you know I rather he had his tongue stuck down Uru’s throat LOL ^_^
Reita. Reita was a violent ball of energy throughout the entire live. Of course Rei’s backing vocals are as good as always. Man, the guy has some powerful voice really. But he is so playful with his bass which made me like AW, Reita. And yes, I loved his hair too. And of course his bass part in the Ride with the Rockers was OMG.
And finally, Kai. Who wouldn’t love Dimple-Sama. He was so cute flashing his dimples from time to time. And his drums were just as perfect as ever. He did wear glasses during the encore but he chose to loose it as soon as Ride with the Rockers was over. Wonder why.
So overall about the tour, I was happy as well as angry.
Happy, because the live was excellent. The visual effects were great. The band members were perfection as they performed flawlessly with elegant grace. The audience were really good. Actually the GazettE are really lucky as they have earned themselves some really good fans. The fans didn’t hold back at all on the head banging and when Ruki kept asking もっと (more) from the audience they gave it to him without hesitation. Such audience is a gift because the other day when I went to a performance, the guy even though he was famous had to practically beg to the audience to applaud and they still refused.
Angry, because first the live was too short. I mean the encore was just a few songs. And also why the hell did they have to remove Kantou? Kantou Dogeza Kumiai is one of my most favorite GazettE lives but they had to remove something as epic as that. And then Ride with the Rockers, why was Aoi and Uruha’s guitar part so short? I mean it felt like it had just started and the next moment before I knew it, it was already over. And same goes to Discharge too, I remember in the other lives that Discharge used to be really really long. And I really missed Ruder, Hyena, Miseinen Uncertain Sense and Break Me. I really wanted to see Uncertain Sense but again disappointment.
So overall even though I loved DIM SCENE and NAMELESS LIBERTY SIX GUNS more, I still loved Venomous Cell Tour too. They don’t seem to be into fan service anymore, I mean there was just one Aoiha moment (which I absolutely loved and was it my imagination or did Aoi tap real close to his crotch while standing next to Uru LOL) and some Reituki moments. And also there was this cute Aoi and Reita moment where Aoi leaves Uruha in the raised podium after playing together in Akai One Piece and he playfully blocks Reita who was running back to the stage LOL. Wonder whether they feel they don’t have to do it anymore as they already are the fever of the nation or maybe they edited it.
And well I was dancing throughout the entire DVD LOL. Normally if my mother was there I would have to keep real still since she yells at me if do anything like even shaking my head to the music which is really unfair. But since no one was home I head banged, danced in the couch, blew kisses and cried. Yes I cried, for Untitled alone. Funny, I have never cried for a GazettE live before, even when I saw Aoi crying his eyes out in Tokyo Dome. But when I saw Untitled, I remembered every shit that happened to me in my life, like how I made the mistake of being born, especially being born in India. How I lost my vision in my right eye due to an accident and even now sporting a squint on the right eye which makes me absolutely hate taking pics of myself. How I had to leave my childhood friends behind due to my father’s transfer. How I got bullied in school due to my color. How I lost the ability to trust or make friends. How I ruined my life by taking up Engineering. How I am still not allowed to pursue my dream as my father refused to let me continue learning Japanese. How I will be forced into an arranged marriage in another year. Shit piled over one by one. But by the end of the song I stopped crying as I could feel the song assuring me that there will be hope for me in the future. So let’s see what I have in store.
This DVD will really be precious to me forever as this is my very first merchandise of the GazettE. It really was troublesome to take the DVD out of the case as I was afraid it would break LOL. And OMG I even got a photo booklet Hurray!!! Hope to get more GazettE Merchandise in the future ^^

Date: 2012-07-03 11:48 pm (UTC)I guess what people dislike about it is the fact that they cut a lot of scenes and some songs which are usually longer are shorter. But heck, I regret nothing buying it because its third on my most favorite lives after RCE and NLSB. XD

Date: 2012-07-04 01:08 am (UTC)When my father first agreed to buy OMEGA for me i was kinda feeling guilty since the DVD was really expensive and also i was kinda disappointed when they first published the set list.there wasn't Uncertain Sense, Kantou and not a single Aoi song..but well i didn't care i just wanted the DVD tats all..as the GazettE r really important to me and i wanted to at least contribute a bit by buying at least one merchandise..
But still I agree with u abt being worth it even though it was short..
Ya Aoi Aoi Aoi..tats was wat i was chanting LOL..and even though there werent any of Aoi's compositions at least Aoi played Sugar Pain's intro during his guitar check so part of my disappointment left yay..
And i m sure u got ur fill of Uru the sexy dynamite too ^_^
I can seriously understand y u love RCE..i love it myself and the reason..Aoi's epic long hair..and Uru was so goddamn beautiful..and RIDE WITH THE ROCKERS I almost raped tat due to Aoi's screams..u must be getting tired LOL i almost always keep crooning abt Aoi (^^")

IKR! I love Aoi's hair in RCE and Sugar Pain. God. That song is one of the reasons why I love that live. Also, their best performance of Kantou Dogeza Kumiai was in RCE. Aoi touching his crotch... *drools*
Pffft. You know I won't get tired of you crooning about Aoi. Let's continue this shall we? PLEASE!!! This is a good stress reliever for me right now, hahaha!

I think I should watch NLSG.. I've only watched that one video, it was Baretta.. i guess.. where Uru sports his proof that he's a man after all XDD
Till date, I've watched 4 lives of theirs.. on my laptop -_____- (wish i could say that about REAALLY watching them live DX)
And they are always so awesome.. I mean.. one of the reasons why I love the GazettE is also that their songs in lives are as good as the studio versions.. Sometimes even better than the studio versions..
They work so hard for us.. makes me wanna cry T_T

I was kinda disappointed with this DVD, probably because TOXIC features songs that I'm not too particularly fond of (I think I only really like RED, VORTEX and THE SUICIDE CIRCUS) and then of course, they cut out a lot of songs I wanted to hear live... and it felt really short in my opinion as well. Especially the encore. It was only like 30mins or something!! Usually, from what I've seen on other lives, it's 45mins+ at least. So, it was a little disappointing when I think about it and look back to their previous lives. ^^U
My absolute favourite lives would have to be RCE and DIM SCENE. Hands down. RCE for me was so energetic and features most of my favourite songs, and DIM SCENE follows just because of how powerful the performance is... ; _ ;
Okay, enough ranting from me. But I was watching OMEGA last night with my step-brother, and he was just sitting next to me like "...that guy is wearing a dress..." (he was talking about Aoi, and I had to explain that it was a skirt LMFAO. He was seriously convinced it was a dress, though).
And sweetie, you're not creepy. Have you seen my bedroom walls? You don't want to. I'm scared of letting outsiders into my room because they'll be bombarded with GazettE's gorgeous faces. XD
Over all, I'm super happy you got finally got the dvd and had a chance to watch it. (^^) x

and DIM SCENE..holy mother of GOD..tats wat u call a live..everythin abt tat live was fucking perfect..i absolutely drooled and screamed watching the members when they were playing..by far i wud say tat DIM SCENE is my most favorite live..

Especially in RCE. I loved all the songs in RCE... Sugar Pain, Swallowtail on the Death Valley, Circle of Swindler, Agony, Filth in the beauty Guren... all the performances were amazing!! ESPECIALLY DISCHARGE. For me, no other live Discharge performance can compare to RCE's. XD
Haha, really? Whenever I read Uruha in general, I always imagine him in his RCE look unless stated otherwise. I think that's his "look" because he looks uke for me, but he can be seme. ;)
DIM SCENE... I loved all the performances as well! Especially Dim Scene... so beautiful. Especially for Guren, I nearly end up crying. And.., 13stairs... <3 Definitely some of my favourite performances, especially Ride with the rockers and the encore in general! It was great.
Aoi looks great in anything he wears! His skirts seem to be getting longer, though. XD Whenever someone mentions Aoi in a dress, I imagine him dressed up like Hizaki for some reason LOL. Or rather, more in Jasmine You's style and Uruha in Hizaki's. My mind is strange. o_O

I do agree on the cutting songs short and Ride with the Rockers (at first I wasn't in love with how the re-made it, but after watching it a second time, I'm sold)
I too wondered about Kai only wearing his glasses for a short moment, more because I haven't seen him with glasses before, but he looked really cute<3
